Adult Swim's Greatest Mobile Gaming Hits
Adult Swim has been in the mobile gaming scene for some time now, consistently cranking out addictive, edgy, and awesome titles that burn themselves into our retinas like shiny, neon lasers. With the release of Adventure Xpress, the stable continues to grow, but if you really want to experience an awesome series of accessible and entertaining games, you'll want to look to Adult Swim's past for some truly excellent plays. Here are three of the best games Adult Swim has to offer.
Girls Like Robots
If you've ever dealt with party planning or hanging out with several different groups of friends or family before, you should be well aware of the problems that stem from trying to appease people with their assigned seats. Think back to school and the field trip you planned to spend with your best friend, only to be foiled by teachers and assigned seating. Girls Like Robots forces you to find places for all the members of your varying posse, whether it's a girl by a robot, a boy next to a nerd, or any one of those combinations. It's quirky, silly, and simplistic, but it's also a whole lot of fun. Like Adult Swim's stable of bizarre adventures, Girls Like Robots is an addictive endeavor all its own.
Robot Unicorn Attack
Yes, there's a sequel to the game, but you're better served with the original, which started it all. As the title suggests, you play a robot unicorn who's just chasing its dreams through gorgeous vistas, all the while Erasure's "Always" plays on in the background. The game's free, but you have to pay for that song -- which you'll inevitably want to. Using only a tap to soar through the air and through those who want to shatter yor dreams, Robot Unicorn Attack is a testament to a simpler time in gaming where all you needed was an awesome concept, interesting environments, and the will to keep pushing ahead. This is one endless runner you won't regret downloading.
Monsters Ate My Condo
Enormous monsters are rampaging through the city and eating up all of the condos! Whatever will you do? You'll help to keep them fed, that's what. You'll swipe left and right, feeding monsters their favorite color of condo, complete the people screaming inside, probably. They'll get bigger and bigger, and you'll rack up combos as you please the towering beasts. They don't care about anything but being fed, and as you please them your score will grow exponentially. The game very quickly becomes extremely fast-paced, with plenty of opportunities for learning new tips and tricks for upping your game. It's also extremely colorful, and one of the few games you can go back to at any time for some frantic fun no matter what genre you're into.
